Deconstruct the prompt:

In Nelson Mandela's Long Walk to Freedom, Mandela describes his understanding of freedom during his lifetime. Write a reading response explaining how Mandela's point of view, at different times of his life, affected his understanding of freedom.? Support your answer with evidence from the text.
Analyze the interactions between individuals, events, and ideas in a text (e.g., how ideas influence individuals or events, or how individuals influence ideas or events).
